There is a significant anomaly that exists between how the American standards define temperature & gases and IEC standards define temperatures & gases. They are effectively reversed an American Specification asking for Division 2 Gas Group C is equivalent to IEC IIB gases.

IEC defines IIC gases as Hydrogen/Acetylene US standards Define Div2 Group C gases as Acetaldehyde, Ethylene.
